Cadets, This week in Space War, our brand-new Winter holiday limited time event is live! From Saturday December 3rd 2022, complete all the objectives in the brand new “Snowy Delivery” mission to collect a new event ship for your hangar; we dub it the "Cyber Sleigh"! Hurry though, this is a limited time event, so you have from now until January 7th, 2023, to collect ornaments and unlock your reward! Version 1.2 Patch notes: - Added Snowy Delivery 2022 limited time even running from December 3rd 2022 at 09:00 UTC until January 7th 2023 at 23:59 UTC
The event includes the following:
- 1 new special event mission
- 1 new ship for cadets to unlock
- Holiday decorations in the Hangar
- Brand new event music for the Hangar and Event mission
- 3 brand new enemy types including Sniper ship, Sniper canon and Directional turret.
- Present delivery mechanic
- Snow, lots of snow
Changelog:
- A new pop VFX now happens when the Cadet’s shield breaks
- A new electric particle now occurs when the Cadet’s shield is broken and lasts until the shield has recharged
- Added some sleek borders to the loading screen
Bug fixes: - Fixed an issue where the screen would not become darker as part of the time slow down mechanic on mission 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8
